Operation Swechha, launched in Andhra Pradesh, released its first annual report, aiming to eliminate child labor. The initiative involved AP Police, CID, and the Women Protection Cell, collaborating with the Labor department to establish anti-human trafficking units in each district. The report, released by CID's additional director general N Sanjay, highlighted the rescue of 1,506 child laborers in 2023. Out of them, 897 have successfully enrolled in schools through the Samagra Siksha Abhiyan. The effort received recognition from the central ministry of home affairs, with the CID submitting the report annually. SP KGV Saritha was felicitated for her acknowledgment by the Tamil Nadu government.
