Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu Minister, has clarified his recent statement about Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, asserting that he did not use any offensive language. Sitharaman had earlier urged him to "watch his words" in response to his comment about 'father's money.' Stalin emphasized that he did not consider 'father' a bad word and urged the Finance Minister to focus on releasing relief funds for Tamil Nadu. The controversy arose from Stalin's comments on the alleged non-disbursal of funds to Tamil Nadu by the Centre. Additionally, Udhayanidhi faced backlash for his remarks on Sanatana Dharma, stating it should be 'eliminated.'
